County Executive’s Awards for Excellence in Arts & Humanities
The County Executive’s Awards for Excellence in the Arts and Humanities will be presented Oct. 21 at 7 p.m. at Montgomery College’s Cultural Arts Center, Takoma Park. The awards announced by the Arts and Humanities Council of Montgomery County (AHCMC) are the most prestigious honors conferred by Montgomery County on individual artists, scholars, organizations and cultural patrons. County Executive Isiah Leggett and Mrs. Catherine Leggett will present the awards. Performances from arts and humanities organizations and recognition of the AHCMC grant recipients for FY13 and FY14 will follow the awards. The attire for the event is business casual.
