County Executive Candidates Hear from Black Business Leaders
Updated:
Original 2.28.18 About 350 people attended a county executive forum Wednesday morning hosted by the Montgomery County Black Business Council, an affinity group of the Maryland Black Chamber of Commerce.
The event, at the Silver Spring Civic Building, gave five Democratic candidates and the single Republican candidate a chance to hear concerns from black business leaders.
Many of the questions revolved around the lack of opportunities and efforts to even out the playing field for small business owners.
