County Council Progressing on Fiscal 2018 Budget (VIDEOS)

The Montgomery County Council is in the middle of deciding the modifications it will make to County Executive Ike Leggett’s fiscal 2018 budget. Council President Roger Berliner said he and his colleagues will be making changes on the margin that “reflect our values.”

Among the changes could be restoring money to nonprofits that Leggett removed from his spending plan.

The council must complete its work by the end of May. Fiscal 2018 begins July 1.
