County Council Committees Meet Monday Oct. 15

Montgomery County Councilmembers have a busy schedule of committee meetings Monday. All meetings are held in the Council Office Building located at 100 Maryland Avenue in Rockville.

The schedule of committee meetings for Monday, Oct. 15:

• The Health and Human Services (HHS) committee will meet with the Public Safety (PS) committee at 9:30 a.m. to consider a special appropriation of $70,799 to fund an additional therapist to increase the capacity of the Adult Drug Court and provide more intensive services. • The Planning, Housing and Economic Development (PHED) committee will meet at 10 a.m. to review the requirements and procedures for the Moderately Priced Dwelling Unit (MPDU) program. View the Council staff report here.
• The Council’s Public Safety (PS) committee will meet at 10 a.m. to review a plan to save more than $3 million from the Fire and Rescue Services budget for the remainder of Fiscal Year 19. View the Council staff report here.
