Council to Hold Public Hearing on Wheaton Library and Recreation Center
The Montgomery County Council will hold a public hearing at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 17, on Expedited Bill 34-14 that would lead to the County building a new Wheaton Library and Recreation Center. The bill would authorize the planning, design and construction of the project.
The public hearing will be held in the Third Floor Hearing Room of the Council Office Building, which is located at 100 Maryland Avenue in Rockville. The meeting will be televised live by County Cable Montgomery (CCM—Cable Channel 6 on Comcast and RCN, Channel 30 on Verizon) and can be viewed via streaming through the County website at www.montgomerycountymd.gov/council.
