Council President News Conference (Video)

Montgomery County Council President Nancy Navarro met with the media on March 18. Navarro provided briefings on a variety of topics, including the county executive’s recommended budget, Wheaton revitalization and redevelopment, the Silver Spring Transit Center, an Office of Legislative Oversight (OLO) report on the academic achievement gap, several bills (MOE and Lockheed Martin) in Annapolis that the Council is opposing, the Chevy Chase Lake Sector Plan and the pending impact on the sequester.
