Montgomery County Council President Craig Rice met with the media on Dec. 9 to discuss his goals and objectives for the year ahead.
During the nearly 20-minute briefing he stressed his top priorities for small businesses and the agricultural community. He talked about “growing” farming and said he has been in talks with Montgomery County Public Schools Superintendent Joshua Starr about launching a farming magnet or pilot program.
