Council Honors Lucy Luseni for Aiding Stabbing Victim (Photo)

The Montgomery County Council recently honored nurse Lucy Luseni for saving the life of a man who had been assaulted.

Lucy Luseni, an off-duty nurse who stopped her car on Georgia Avenue recently to assist an injured man who was lying near the road, is applauded for her efforts that resulted in saving the life of the victim, who had been stabbed 14 times.

Lucy’s son, John; Ambassador Pasco Temple of Sierra Leone, her native country; her mother, Maseray; County Councilmember Nancy Navarro; Lucy’s sister, Sonya Anyaka; Lucy; State’s Attorney John McCarthy; Lucy’s father, John Luseni; and friend, David Vandy.
