Community Conversations with Maria Navarro
Chief Academic Officer Maria Navarro for Montgomery County Public Schools is holding a conversation with the community to discuss the future of high school programs.
The meeting will be centered on discussing what programs should be offered to high school students to prepare them for collegiate and career success.
In May 2018, Navarro sent out an email to the MCPS community explaining her proposal for a curriculum change that ensures all students have access to resources for success. The proposal for curriculum change could be associated with MCPS’ struggle to close the achievement gap.
The meeting will be 6:30 p.m. Feb. 11 at Clarksburg High School.
