Committee Works to Bring More Green Space to Silver Spring (Video)

The Tree Committee of the Silver Spring Citizens Advisory Board says the downtown area is in desperate need of more “green space.”

In this MyMCMedia Extra, Dan Morales, co-chair of the Tree Committee, talks about several proposals for green space from community members and looks ahead at what’s next for the discussion of more outdoor areas in Silver Spring.

The Tree Committee will hold an open forum with the community on the future of green space in Silver Spring on April 28 at 7 p.m. in the Silver Spring Civic Building.
