UPDATED: Commercial Building Fire in Gaithersburg
UPDATED, March 19, 2:45 p.m. – A fire at an auto repair shop in Gaithersburg has some roads closed between Shady Grove Road and Railroad Avenue.
More than 75 firefighters are on the scene of the fire at 16940 Oakmont Ave. MCFRS Spokesman Pete Piringer said the fire appears accidental.

Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services is on the scene of what is described as a “firefight” at a warehouse in Gaithersburg.
The fire is at 16940 Oakmont Ave. in a commercial warehouse, according to MCFRS spokesman Pete Piringer. Piringer said firefighters met with heavy fire conditions but have knocked down the fire at about 1:30 p.m. Thursday. He said no one has been injured.
