Colesville House Fire Under Investigation (PHOTOS)
UPDATED 9:30 a.m. Over 60 Montgomery County firefighters battled a house fire at a group home for residents with special needs in the 13600 block of Mills Avenue in Colesville early today.
On his Twitter account, Fire and Rescue Spokesperson Pete Piringer reports that firefighters encountered heavy flames at the two-level ranch-style house.
According to Piringer, five occupants have been relocated. Piringer said damage is estimated at approximately $500,000.
So far, there’s no word on what sparked the blaze.
