Twinbrook Partnership, a private neighborhood and business alliance founded and organized by The JBG Companies, this week donated more than 400 gently used coats to Rockville’s Interfaith Clothing Center on Twinbrook Parkway.

The Partnership conducted its inaugural Holiday Coat Drive during the week of Dec. 16-20, and organizers report the response from those who live and work in the Twinbrook community was overwhelming and generous. The coats will be provided free of charge through Interfaith to area families in need.

Through it’s JBG Cares initiative, JBG is proud to have supported more than 20 area nonprofits across the Washington region in 2013. In the holiday spirit of giving, the Chevy Chase-based company for the first time this year also gifted the opportunity to make a charitable donations to employees in lieu of a more traditional holiday gift. Each employee was given a $25 gift card to be used to support a charity of their choice through the Catalogue For Philanthropy, which operates the alternative giving program. This e-card opportunity was warmly received.
