This is the first and required step toward volunteering or producing at MCM and gaining access to MCM’s broadcast quality professional equipment. The class offers an overview of services and opportunities for community members and prospective volunteers. Class will cover the basic terminology and theory behind video production. You’ll learn about our policies and your options for getting involved. This prerequisite class is designed as a first step to any of the training paths for producers and volunteer technicians. The Orientation prepares students for all class options offered at MCM.
If you are not currently a member, you will need to join and pay the membership fee for the current year up to $40 maximum when registering for your first class after Orientation
