City of Gaithersburg Offers Free Rabies Clinic for Cats and Dogs

The City of Gaithersburg will offer free rabies clinics for cats and dogs from April through September, according to a news release.

They will take place take place at the Montgomery County Animal Services and Adoption Center, located at 7315 Muncaster Mill Road in Derwood from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

For county residents, there is no fee for the rabies vaccination but a City of Gaithersburg Pet License must be purchased at the clinic.  Out of county residents will be charged a $4 fee for dogs, cats and ferrets.

All clinics will be held on Sundays.  Below is a list of dates:

  • April 15
  • May 20
  • June 24
  • July 15
  • Aug. 26
  • Sept. 16
