Churchill Champions (Photos)

The Churchill High School ice hockey team, which recently won its second Maryland Student Hockey League 2A championship in the past three seasons, was honored by the Montgomery County Council on April 30. Coach Ray McKenzie’s Bulldogs won 18 of their final 19 games in finishing with a 19-3-1 overall record—the best in school history. They defeated defending champion Easton in the league title game, 6-1.
