Children’s Garden Dedication at Hospice on March 28

Montgomery County Executive Isiah Leggett will join Gaithersburg elected officials, Bruce Allentuck, chief executive officer of Allentuck Landscaping and other invited guests to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Clarksburg-based Allentuck Landscaping on March 28.

The landscaping company will dedicate a Children’s Garden at Hospice Caring Cottage, 518 South Frederick Road in Gaithersburg, at a 10 a.m. ceremony.

Allentuck started working as a landscaper in his Montgomery County neighborhood while still in high school. He started his business by the time he was 22, and has expanded the company from two employees to more than 30 today. Allentuck Landscaping has been recognized as one of Maryland’s Most Exceptional Companies by The Gazette, and as one of the top area landscape contractors by The Washington Business Journal and was awarded Montgomery County’s 2008 Environmental Green Innovation Award.

Allentuck’s grandparents were gently cared for by Hospice Caring, Inc. during their final days. To commemorate his company’s anniversary and as a tribute to his grandparents and the care they received, his company has donated a Children’s Garden at Hospice Caring, Inc. that will be dedicated to the memory of his grandparents.
