Child Struck by Vehicle at Intersection of Georgia Avenue and August Drive

A child was struck by a vehicle on Tuesday afternoon at the intersection of Georgia Avenue and August Drive, according to Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Spokesperson Pete Piringer.

Piringer said the boy, who is about 4-years-old, was transported to an area hospital as a priority two trauma patient.

According to Piringer, the boy’s injuries were not life threatening.
