Cherri Branson (D) Discusses Increase in County Recordation Tax and School Funding
Montgomery County Council At-Large candidate Cherri Branson fielded questions from members of three development groups at a forum held in Rockville on Jan. 24. Branson responds to a question about whether the 2016 increase in recordation tax was necessary to increase school funding.
The three organizations that hosted the forum were the Greater Capital Area Association of Realtors, the Maryland Building Industry Association, and the Apartment and Office Building Association.
The five candidates were Cherri Branson, Bill Conway, Evan Glass, Richard Gottfried, and Michele Riley
