Celebrating Parks and Recreation Month (PHOTO)
Montgomery County Council President Craig Rice enthusiastically talks about the many parks and recreational opportunities throughout the County as the Council and County Executive Isiah Leggett on July 29 recognized the national celebration of July as Parks and Recreation month.
Joining the ceremonies were Gabe Albornoz, left, the director of the County’s Department of Recreation, and John Nissel, the deputy director of operations for the Montgomery Parks division of the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission.
