Montgomery County Launches Online Survey as Search for New Police Chief Begins
After serving 15 years, Tom Manger is retiring from his job as Chief of Police for Montgomery County.
County Executive Marc Elrich is seeking input from residents on the search for Manger’s replacement. To this end, residents may provide comments through an online survey on the county website.
The 15-question survey asks residents to rank the top three characteristics the police chief should possess, the top issues for the incoming chief, the biggest challenges, actions and policies the police department should continue, and how the department should engage communities.
The survey will be open from now to Friday, April 5 at 6 p.m. The survey is anonymous.
