Ebony explains that Dan Lednicer is a miniature painter. Mr. Lednicer taught me about miniature painting. He also told me about his inspirations for his art work. He has travelled to many different countries. His paintings are extremely small and detailed.

Melanie explains that she had the pleasure of interviewing Judy Walser, who told her all about community organizing and what it is. She told her amazing stories about all the volunteer work and projects she worked with. She taught her that in order for change to happen, things need to get done as a community.

Anna explains that Nancy Kaplan is a volunteer who has worked with charities such as Project Turkey. She has donated goods, organized materials, and sown pillows for children in cancer units, as well as sown curtains for homeless shelters.  This is the story of her life helping others.

Angie explains that she interviewed Bob Youker who is a former bomb diffuser. He told me about what it was like to defuse a bomb and what to do. I learned that being in the military with a job like bomb defusing can be dangerous and you can have a good time as well.   […]

Cathy explains that her story was about a lady names Elaine Rosenblum and she traveled to Australia and Russia. She said that Australia was more similar to the United States of America compared to Russia. This is because the language and food were different.  She enjoyed it either way. Donicia explains that Beth Van Lenten was an indexer at the Library of Medicine. She used to organize many medical articles and sort them out by the topics that they were focused on. Beth now lives at Ingleside at King Farm and is in charge of taking care of the library there.

Hi, my name is Chris Yancey. I am an 8th grader at Sligo Middle School. I interviewed Jim Reichley at Ingleside at King Farm. Jim Reichley served in the Army for 2 years and was an advisor of President Gerald Ford. He also wrote 3 political science books and was the editor of Fortune Magazine.
