Caring Matters: You Have the Right to Grieve

When it comes to grief, it’s important to know your rights.

The Bill of Rights for Grief

  1. You have the right to be angry.
  2. You have the right to talk about your feelings.
  3. You have the right to be patient with yourself.
  4. You have the right to be sad and cry.
  5. You have the right to get outside help.

Anyone who needs help handling their grief is never alone. If you are grieving, reach out to 301.869.4673, or go to the Caring Matters website.
