Car Drives into Burger King (PHOTO)

Montgomery County police and fire rescue crews responded to a vehicle that crashed into a building this afternoon.

It happened alongside a Burger King restaurant in the 16000 block of Shady Grove Road.

Fire and Rescue Spokesperson Pete Piringer said on his Twitter account that one person was transported to the hospital.

No word on what caused the crash.

Earlier this week, emergency crews were called to a vehicle that struck a house in Silver Spring. Last week, a vehicle crashed into a Gaithersburg storefront.
