
Car in Montgomery Village Pond (PHOTOS)
Montgomery County police and fire responded to a two car crash in Montgomery Village on May 22.
According to Fire Rescue Spokesperson Pete Piringer, one car hit a tree and the other traveled into a nearby pond along East Village Avenue. The pond is known as Lake Marion.
The car that went into the water had three people in it, and two nearby residents rescued the occupants from the vehicle.
The injuries involved in this accident were not life threatening, according to Piringer.
