Car Hits Hydrant in Silver Spring (PHOTOS)

A road is flooded in Silver Spring after a car ran into a fire hydrant this morning.

Vierling Drive is closed to traffic and the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission has been called to shut off the hydrant.

Montgomery County Police are investigating the 10: 52 a.m. accident.
