Campbell Soup Company  is voluntarily recalling cans of SpaghettiOs Original because of a potential choking hazard.

According to a news release, pieces of red plastic were found in a number of  14.2 ounce cans of SpaghettiOs Orginal with a date of February 22, 2017.

The date is stamped at the bottom of the can and has a UPC code of 51000 22432 printed under the bar code.

The company was able to identify the issue after receiving consumer complaints. The plastic material is from parts of the can lining, which can peel off. Campbell Soup Company is recalling 355,000 cans limited to the United States.

The product should not be consumed and people who have purchased an affected can should return it to the store where the product was bought for an exchange or full refund.
