“Our focus is on the private sector and small businesses. This event will be an evening of information exchange and empowerment for small businesses, newcomers to the small business arena, and private sector investors alike,” said Elizabeth Lacy-Coates, forum’s organizer.
Panel discussions about conducting business on Africa and Cameroon, agriculture, trade, banking and others will be held during the event.
Guest speakers include Montgomery County Executive Isiah Leggett and Republic of Cameroon Ambassador Joseph Bienvenu Charles Foe-Atangana.
According to a press release, Chief Bajon Bihai III, president of the Cameroon Royal Council, said this is the first event of its kind, and will provide attendees with valuable information about local business and economic opportunities available in the private sector of the Republic of Cameroon adding that “together, we can make a difference.”
After the forum, the evening will feature the Cameroonian Cultural Festival to showcase the richness and diversity of the Cameroonian heritage where vendors and exhibitors will showcase textiles, agriculture, retail, art, and more.
