Business Seminars at Germantown Library (Photos)

The second of three small business seminars will be held on April 16 at the Germantown Library.

The first seminar was held last month. The seminar titled “Essentials of Starting your own Business” was led by Larry Tremonti a SCORE mentor. Approximately 60 attendees learned about factors that will help lead to a successful business; testing business ideas, legal structure, accounting, insurance, market analysis and marketing; sources of financing, management team, and profits and losses. The hour long presentation was followed by a question and answer session. (See photos.)

The April 16 seminar is entitled, “Developing a Business Plan” and the third one on May 21 is entitled, “Accounting for a Small Business.” A question-and-answer session will follow the presentations. Both will take place 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., at the Germantown Library, 19840 Century Blvd.
