Buddy Walk to Support DSNMC
Nearly one in every 700 babies born in the US is born with Down syndrome. Montgomery County has a network of caring people focused on empowering and supporting Down syndrome families through education, awareness and advocacy.
The goal of the annual Buddy Walk® is to promote awareness and acceptance of people with Down syndrome in Montgomery County and beyond. The Buddy Walk® is also the primary fundraising activity of DSNMC, a support network, advocacy group and information provider to families whose lives have been touched by Down syndrome. We are a volunteer organization, and 100% of the funds we raise go directly to support the programs and services of DSNMC and the National Down Syndrome Society.
The Buddy Walk will take place Saturday, October 6 from 10 am to 2:30 pm at Hadley’s Park in Potomac.
