Brush Fire on Big Woods Road (PHOTOS & VIDEOS)
Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services dispatched units to contain a brush fire that burned about five to seven acres in a wooded area near Big Woods Road.
Fire and Rescue Spokesperson Pete Piringer said the fire burned close to a home. Firefighters were able to bring the flames under control. Piringer said firefighters and a four-wheel “brush” unit were operating on scene to put out hot spots.
According to Piringer, the fire out is now extinguished; no injuries reported.
