Boys and Girls Basketball State Semifinal Games Postponed

Four Montgomery County basketball teams that advanced to the state semifinals will not be playing their games as scheduled it was announced Thursday. Maryland Public Secondary Schools Athletic Association (MPSSA) postponed all state semifinal games which were set to be played Thursday through Saturday at two locations.

The affected Montgomery County teams are the Springbrook and Richard Montgomery boys’ teams whose games were scheduled to be played at Xfinity Center at the University of Maryland in College Park and the Churchill (4A) and Rockville (3A) girls’ teams who were scheduled to play their games at the SBCU Arena at Towson University in Towson.
