Boys and Girls Basketball Playoff Weekend Recap
In case you missed it, here are the results of the boys and girls basketball playoff games this weekend involving Montgomery County schools. The full brackets are below.
Boys:
4A:
Springbrook defeated Bladensburg 75-62 on Saturday. The Blue Devils advances to the 4A state semifinals where they will play Parkville Thursday at 7 pm at Xfinity Center in College Park.
Richard Montgomery routed Arundel 77-55 on Saturday. The Rockets will play in the 4A semifinals against Wise Thursday at 9 pm at Xfinity Center.
Winston Churchill lost to Parkville 74-64 on Saturday. The Bulldogs’ season is over.
3A:
Watkins Mills fell to top seed St. Charles 69-44 on Saturday. The Wolverines’ season is over.
Girls:
4A:
Churchill blew out Paint Branch 68-30 on Friday. The Bulldogs advance to the state semis against C.H. Flowers Thursday at 5 pm at the SECU Arena at Towson University.
Clarksburg was defeated by Western 87-69 on Friday. The Coyotes’ season is over.
3A:
Rockville upset Great Mills 44-42. The Rams will advance to the 3A state semifinals against Poly Thursday at 9 pm at the SECU Arena.
