Book Festival Invites Exhibitors to Set Up Shop

Gaithersburg Book Festival will take place on May 17 at the grounds of City Hall.

Whether you’re an author, poet, publisher, literary non-profit or owner of a business that relates to reading or the book industry, the fifth annual Gaithersburg Book Festival is an ideal venue for showcasing your offerings.

With tens of thousands of visitors and more than 100 award-winning and best-selling authors expected to converge at the grounds of City Hall on Saturday, May 17, the Festival offers an excellent opportunity to capture the attention of book lovers and avid readers of all ages.

Growing in attendance each year, the Festival attracts attendees from around the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area, as well as numerous states across the country.

Literary Exhibitor spaces are available throughout the Festival grounds, and are comprised of a 10’ x 10’ space that includes a canopy, one table and two chairs.  Exhibitors will be responsible for bringing their own materials and must operate only within their assigned space.

For authors, the festival will have a Hall of Exhibiting Authors – a large tented main attraction where authors can sell their books.  Authors who sign up to exhibit will be provided with a 5’ x 5’ space, which includes a tabletop and two chairs.

Backdrops, pop-ups and signage are encourage for both Literary Exhibitors and Exhibiting Authors, and are the responsibility of the individual exhibitors.

Exhibitors are eligible for an early bird discount if space is secured by Monday, March 3. Booth space is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Exhibiting Authors in the Hall of Authors or Literary Exhibitor applications are available on the Exhibit page of the Festival website.
