UPDATED: Police Identify Deceased Man Found in Bethesda Park, Death Investigation Underway
UPDATED Police have identified a deceased man found in a Bethesda creek last night as 40-year-old Daniel Taylor Evans of Sykesville. According to Montgomery County police, Evans had been reported to the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office as a missing person. Police have not released the cause of death and said an autopsy is pending.

ORIGINAL POST Montgomery County police officers received a call Thursday night for the report of a body found in Booze Creek Stream Valley Park in Bethesda.
Sgt. Rebecca Innocenti said the call was received at 7:19 p.m. on Aug. 10 from Heatherhill Court, a residential street which backs up to the park.
According to Innocenti, police should know more about the deceased person and the cause of death once an autopsy is complete. She would not confirm any information about the person.
Innocenti said the department’s Major Crimes Division is conducting a death investigation.
