Bluegrass Band Seldom Scene Appearing at BlackRock (Video)

Bluegrass band ‘The Seldom Scene’ will perform at BlackRock Center for the Arts on Saturday, January 31 at 8 p.m. Tickets are $36 and may be purchased online at the BlackRock website.

This legendary quintet challenges the boundaries of bluegrass while they charm audiences with their low-key, witty patter.

Playing together for four decades and earning a national reputation, ‘The Scene’ set a new standard that has greatly expanded the bluegrass audience.

The Montgomery County-based group is Ben Eldridge on banjo, Dudley Connell on guitar/vocals, Fred Travers on dobro, Ronnie Simpkins on bass and Lou Reid on mandolin/vocals.
