BlackRock Free Outdoor Summer Concerts

During the month of July, enjoy free outdoor concerts at the BlackRock Center for the Arts, 12901 Town Commons Drive, Germantown. The concerts are every Saturday evening in July at 7 p.m. are are open to the public. Audience members are invited to bring lawn chairs and non-alcoholic refreshments and picnics.

 
 
This year’s diverse line-up is:

• July 6 – BG and the Mojo Hands, a D.C.-based blues band, that really feels the music
• July 13 – US Navy Country Current, the Navy’s premiere country-bluegrass ensemble
• July 20 – The Empresarios, a band whose signature Caribbean sound is called “Tropicaliente”
• July 27 – The James Bazen Big Band, a swing/jazz band that inspires dancing
