BlackRock Center for the Arts presents The Sweater Set Nov. 21 at 7:30 p.m. Maureen Andary and Sara Curtin wear vintage clothing, play ukulele, guitar, flute, glockenspiel, accordion and load their performances with intricate soprano harmonies. The Sweater Set were awarded the 2012 and 2011 WAMMIES for Best Contemporary Folk Duo and have been nominated for 13 WAMMIES in all. BrightestYoungThings nominates them as “D.C.’s most endearing duo,” claiming their attraction to them in live performance was “instant and inescapable.”
