Bill Cook (D) Supports/Opposes Privatization of Liquor Sales in Montgomery County
Bill Cook, Democratic candidate for Montgomery County Council in District 1, participated in the April 12, 2018 Candidates’ Forum hosted by Friends of White Flint. Amy Ginsburg moderated the forum. Cook responded to this question:
“Currently Montgomery County has a monopoly on alcohol sales. Do you believe that the sale of alcohol should be privatized or continue to be managed by the county government, and why? How does your decision affect the White Flint area?”
The candidates participating in this forum included Bill Cook, Pete Fosselman, Andrew Friedson, Ana Sol Gutierrez, Jim McGee, Regina “Reggie” Oldak, and Meredith Wellington. Dalbin Osorio was unable to attend forum due to illness.
