Big Crowd Turns Out For Bethesda Budget Forum (PHOTOS)
There was a big turnout for Montgomery County Executive Ike Leggett’s final fiscal year 2016 Operating Budget forum on Feb. 2 at the Bethesda Chevy-Chase Regional Services Center at 4805 Edgemoor Lane.
“Public forums give residents an opportunity to tell me what’s important to them as I prepare next year’s operating budget for submission to the County Council on March 16,” said Leggett. “Input from residents for the FY16 budget is crucial in helping me determine the County’s budget priorities.”
Leggett held similar budget forums last month in Germantown and Silver Spring.
The county executive is scheduled to announce his Recommended Fiscal Year 2016 Operating Budget on March 16. The County Council approves the operating budget at the end of May.
