Bethesda Nonprofit Working To End Homelessness For More Than 20 Years (VIDEO)

In this MyMCMedia Extra, Bethesda Cares employees talk about the 20 years serving the community and the programs they have to help those living in homelessness in Montgomery County.

“We’ve grown over the years. … We can help ease living on the street with our program as well as we can help end homelessness by helping you getting into housing,” said Susan Kirk, executive director at Bethesda Cares.

Bethesda Cares has outreach programs offering ways to prevent eviction, help people transition out of homelessness and provides resources such as psychiatric services, prescription assistance, and clothes to people in need.
