Bethesda Mother Gives Birth—and COVID-19 Antibodies—to Newborn
An OB-GYN doctor from Bethesda gave birth to her first child this month and was happy to learn that the little girl had COVID-19 antibodies, apparently from the two vaccines Dr. Maggie Burke had received during her pregnancy, according to NBC Washington.
A MedStar Georgetown University Hospital spokesperson said the new mother was not available to comment.
