Bethesda Cares Employee Shares Story of Homelessness in Montgomery County (VIDEO)

In this MyMCMedia Extra, Amy Freeman, development director at Bethesda Cares, shares the story of a man who was in need of a home.

“He takes off the hoodie. It was the guy I dismissed four years earlier,” said Freeman.

Bethesda Cares has outreach programs offering ways to prevent eviction, help people transition out of homelessness and provides resources such as psychiatric services, prescription assistance, and clothes to people in need.
