The sounds of young musicians will fill The Bethesda Blues & Jazz Supper Club on Monday, June 26. It will be the first public performance by the new Bethesda Blues & Jazz Youth Orchestra. The group started rehearsing at the supper club in April.

The Supper Club’s owner Rick Brown established a foundation to support the Bethesda Blues and Jazz Youth Orchestra. The group is expected to have 20 members in addition to an eight-member string section. Applications are still being accepted and auditions held for youth ages 10 to 16. Check the supper club’s website for  more information about the orchestra and the upcoming Jazz Camp.
