Berliner Schedules Community Forum on Nov. 7
Montgomery County District 1 Councilmember Roger Berliner is inviting residents to join him for informal discussion of issues of interest to local residents as a continuing part of his series of “Conversations With Councilmember Berliner.” The event will take place at 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 7, at Garrett Park Elementary School.
“I enjoy these informal meetings with residents of District 1. There is no better setting for me to learn about the concerns of my constituents, and to be able to bring them up-to-date on issues before the County Council,”
“At the Kensington meeting, we will discuss local issues important to residents, including planning and zoning projects, environmental conservation, traffic and transportation concerns and public safety. I hope my constituents will come ready to talk. I will be ready to listen and respond.”
Berliner chairs the Council’s Transportation, Infrastructure, Energy and Environment Committee and serves on the Public Safety Committee.
His district includes Bethesda, Cabin John, Chevy Chase, Friendship Heights, Garrett Park, Glen Echo, Kensington, North Bethesda, Poolesville, Potomac and Somerset.
Garrett Park Elementary School is located at 4810 Oxford Street in Kensington. The meeting will be held in the school’s media center.
