Berliner Press Conference (Video)

Montgomery County Council President Roger Berliner met with the media on June 25 to discuss several key issues, including the county’s tax supported six-year fiscal plan for years 2013-2018. The fiscal plan projects the county’s potential revenues and expenditures and indicates that the budget for both the Maryland -National Capital Park and Planning Commission and county government would decrease by 5.2 percent. Berliner described the report as “sobering.” Other topics included “Shaping the Future” briefing on Health and Human Services program delivery, tree trimming bill and Pepco, legislation increasing the energy efficiency of homes, etc. Take a look.
