Benjamin Gaither Center Designated Site for Dental Services to Low Income Seniors

The Benjamin Gaither Center in Gaithersburg is now one of three sites that will offer basic services to low income seniors. The Montgomery County Area Agency received funding from a State of Maryland grant for the service.

According to a news release, Montgomery County residents over the age of 55, who currently do not have dental insurance and meet the income requirements can qualify for discounted services.

Those who live in a one-person household with a 2015 annual income under $29,425 or a two or more-person household 2015 annual income of $39,925 may quality for the services. The dental services include x-rays and cleanings with a $5 co-pay. The program is open to all Montgomery County residents.

Staff at the Benjamin Gaither Center will be collecting income affidavits from individuals who wish to participate. To find out more information about the services and schedule you can visit the City of Gaithersburg website or call 301.258.6380.
