Behind The Scenes: The Round House Theatre Camp (Video)

Brehind the Scenes With Do & Go LogoThis week “What to Do & Where to Go” is sneaking a peek at a summer camp at the Round House Theatre Education Center in Silver Spring.

Ever wonder how actors like Jackie Chan make fight scenes seem so real? Well, wonder no more.

This summer you can find out how to smash, flip, slap, kick, slam, wham and pow your way through a stage fight and never need a band-aid.

In a safe environment, under the watchful instruction of a trained Fight Choreographer, students will learn the basics of falls, combat, and writing/creating a fight scene from scratch. This camp runs from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. during the week of August 13—17. Cost is $250.
