Behind the Scenes of Crown (Photos)

There’s a new community going up in Gaithersburg: it’s called Crown and when complete will include 2,250 residences.

Over 50 residences have already been sold and the first residents began moving in this fall.

Starbucks is the first business to open in Downtown Crown. Coming soon: LA Fitness and Harris Teeter.

In March of 2014, Ruth’s Chris Steak House is tentatively scheduled to open while a formal, grand opening for all of Downtown Crown is planned for June of 2014.

Here are some photos from behind the scenes of our recent visit to this developing new community, located off Fields Road and across from the Washingtonian Center.
