A black bear spent less than an hour eating breakfast in a Gaithersburg neighborhood on June 20.

The inaugural Montgomery County Small Business Day, held on June 17 at Montgomery Community Media, attracted about 100 small business owners. Expert panels and presentation topics included navigating social media marketing, finance and international expansion.

The Nighttime Economy Task Force is delving into resources and amenities that address Montgomery County’s nightlife. They are also looking into policies that can boost entertainment throughout the county.

 

Supporters of local arts organizations joined Suzan Jenkins, Chief Executive Officer of The Arts and Humanities Council of Montgomery County (AHCMC), at the Round House Theater on June 12 to officially launch a new fund raising tool called Power 2 Give.
